I swear your stories are so thought-provoking. This was a crazy ride. I was kinda wishing she chose to get a cat instead or something. Oh well. Not everyone deserves a happy ending with a cat, I guess 🤷🏻♀️👾
Netflix recently released Soulmates, the premise being that everyone has a soulmate out there, rather than a huge dating pool. The outcomes were as awful as you'd expect.
It taps into the dating app culture, as you've done with your story, albeit in a different manner.
Good casting. I liked that each episode was distinct, not merely riffing on variations of the same path to hell.
I found it interesting rather than a must see. It didn't linger in my mind. Unsatisfied and gullible people looking for a technological fix isn't provocative, nor is the notion of a solitary soul mate, even though that's a self-evidently false notion. So, yes, it was interesting to see the different places they went with the idea.
Your short stories are exceptional! I've only read a few but they've all impressed me (for what my opinion is worth). Like many others, I was voting for the cat button, but the real key to human nature is in your ending. We, the readers, know what the characters should do, but their dissonance is the point. Cool story! Look forward to more in the future!

Thank you! I really appreciate you reading my stories.
Excellent twist.

I haven't watched that. Worth it?

Thank you. I will take a look.
Fuck, I was practically screaming for her to choose the cat. Oh well...
2322 cats found. Left left left.
Ginger - no, a male cat. Want a female one.
Manx - no, want one with a tail.
Siamese, no, too high maintenance.
Tortiseshell - no, too violent....
Hahahaha 😂
She should just get an escort. She’s not ready for an actual relationship.
Another unsettling slow burn of a banger!!
Thank you!
Wow!! The end cracked me up. You really understand the human mind!
I'm glad you're enjoying it. Especially, coming from you.
Thank you!
Aw, that’s nice of you! Thanks. I kept thinking while reading this, “Just pick one, damn it!!!” 😂
Hahaha 😂
To the left.
Lol
Right!
A really powerful story. Dating apps are a pretty dystopian part of modern life anyway, but this one was refreshingly honest!
"get a cat" was brutal! 😂 A nice touch.
Very cool story!
Thank you!
Excellent.
Oh boy!! Such a good one!!
Thank you, Becky! I thought we might need a laugh.
Until the mirror turns.
😅
Until chapter 3 comes out and we’re all crying again? 😂
I am damn sure you're talking about Call Me Moby.
Ummm... maybe 🙃
lol yes! Zero dialogue and whale songs just gonna have me in 😭 🤣🤣
I did not see that ending coming. LOL

Thank you very much!
Even the cat wouldn't have made that bitch happy lol. Very well written.. ❤️ loved it.
This comment made me lol, hahaha
Really amazing story telling! The ending.. so disappointed in her. :(
Wow, I knew exactly how it was going to end, but I cound not stop reading, and the ending STILL made me flinch. Great stuff!
Thank you! I like to write Uncomfortable Fiction, so a flinch is major validation for me.
I am truly grateful to you!
